STUART Kellett missed out on a place at the final European Tour events of the calendar year during a qualifying tournament in Coventry on Friday.
Swindon-based Johnny Haines ended the 32-year-old’s run at the second round stage, progressing 6-1, after the Northwich ace had eased past Curtis Hammond (6-3).
His fortune did not improve later the same evening at the Ricoh Arena, where he went down 6-1 to Steve West.
Winsford darter Dave Bird lost to Wayne Jones, from Wolverhampton, and Steve Douglas in the last 64 of both qualifiers.
