A VALE Royal Athletics Club triathlete donned Great Britain colours for the first time when he competed in the ETU Triathlon European Championships.
Craig Sephton was racing in the men’s 40-44 age group in Kitzbuhel, Austria, where he finished 33rd in a time of 2:28:04.
Sephton, sponsored by Apex Construction and Development and Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, completed the 1.5km swim in 23:47, the 40km cycle in 1:18 and the 10km run in 39:51 in Austria.
The 43-year-old was making his Team GB debut having reached the championships after setting a qualification time during the Bala Standard Distance Triathlon last September.
