WINSFORD A will improve their chances of avoiding the drop if they win their next match in the South and Mid Cheshire League’s third tier.

Following a 6-2 defeat at Cuddington C last Tuesday, they host relegation rivals Audlem at Knights Grange this week.

The teams are tied on points in the Division Three table.

Winsford B have recorded back-to-back victories in Division Four, with Steve McCormack, Stephen Harris, Chris Jones and Mark Barton on court for a 6-2 success against Hightown B on Thursday.
