GIRLS can give rugby a try at Winnington Park after the club announced plans to form a team for under 13s.
The first in a series of taster sessions is scheduled for this Sunday, from 10am.
Older players can take part too, with organiser Vanessa Oakes wanting to gauge interest among potential recruits of all ages.
Players should turn up to Park’s Burrows Hill home wearing trainers and regular sportswear.
Two further tasters follow on successive Sundays, starting at the same time.
Meanwhile Winnington host their first annual meeting since the departure of now former chairman Richard Elliot next Tuesday, from 8pm.
Park’s senior players began their preparations for the forthcoming campaign last night, Tuesday. They will continue, twice weekly, until their first league matches in September.
