TENNIS: Three of a kind
WINSFORD A slipped to a third successive defeat in the South and Mid Cheshire League’s Division Three, this time at high-flying Tarporley A last Tuesday.
Chris Mayoh, John Randall, Steve Harris and Steve McCormack were on court in a 6½-1½ reverse.
Winsford B, with Bill Lawrie and Gary Foster joining Harris and McCormack, crashed 8-0 against guests Acton Bridge in Division Four two days later.
The club welcomes new players to practice sessions at their Knights Grange home every Monday.
