WINNINGTON Park pair John Stackhouse and Rob Bowden helped the North of England men’s representative team to victory in an over 50s tournament at Cannock.

Stackhouse, captain of the side, and midfielder Bowden celebrated wins against counterparts from the Midlands, Wales, East and West on their way to victory.

Clubmates Mark Smith (over 45s), Tony Taig (over 55s) and Jeff Dodd (over 60s) play for the North at similar competitions in the coming weeks.
