POCKETS C have finished as runners-up in the Mid Cheshire League’s Premier Division for the second successive season, leaving last year’s champions Middlewich Legion D to settle for third place.
Stewart Colclough claimed the best break of the campaign while Adam Griffiths, from first time table-toppers Owley Wood A, takes the prize for best performance.
Castle Private B secured back-to-back titles after holding off the challenge of Wharton Cons D in Division One, though the Winsford outfit returns to the top flight after being demoted last time around.
Winsford Cons B’s Alan Dineley and Cygnet’s Colin Hamer win the best performance and highest break awards respectively.
Winnington A and Cosey Club will be promoted from Division Two, with Moulton’s Paul Clarke the section’s star turn.
Dave Hope, from Victoria D, amassed the most points from a single visit to the table.
Wharton Cons C claimed top spot in Division Three ahead of their clubmates, with the champions’ Gary Goodwin and Shaun Reid receiving the individual accolades.
The final tables are printed in this week's Mid Cheshire Guardian.
