THERE is no change at the Mid Cheshire League summit after the leaders matched each other’s margin of victory during the latest round of matches.

Owley Wood A and Pockets C recorded single-frame successes against Middlewich Legion A and Riley’s respectively.

Winsford Cons A enjoyed a 5-2 win against back-markers Middlewich Legion B, while champions Middlewich Legion D won at Castle Private A.

Castle Private B closed to within a win of securing the Division One title after beating Winsford Cons B.

Wharton Cons D are in the same position following a 5-2 victory against Winnington C.

The bottom two sides met, with Owley Wood D coming out on top against Pockets A.

Winnington A beat title rivals Cosey Club to all but secure top spot in Division Two, while Wharton Cons B moved from the relegation zone after a 5-2 win over Pockets D.

Wharton Cons C are confirmed as champions in Division Three with two games left despite losing at Meadowbank A.
