Closest rivals Pockets C won at Middlewich Legion B, where Stewart Colclough defeated his dad in their head-to-head.

Elsewhere, there were wins for champions Middlewich Legion D against Riley’s and Legion A at Winsford Cons A’s expense.

Pockets A were whitewashed by Winnington C in Division One and look resigned to relegation, while leaders Castle Private B proved too strong for guests Cygnet.

Wharton Cons B sent Victoria B into the Division Two drop zone after winning their battle, while in Division Three Wharton Cons C secured promotion by beating Castle Private D.
