A pair of silver medals completed his haul.

Star turn Ashley Hogg lowered his previous best in three disciplines, scooping silver in the 50m breaststroke and bronze in the 400m and 100m freestyle.

Charlotte Pagett, 12, reached a regional benchmark after a lifetime best performance in the 400m freestyle. She was quicker than previously too over 200m for the same stroke.

Brandon Sharkey qualified for the under 16s boys’ 100m butterfly final, while Oliver Rose and Charlotte Carter completed Winsford’s contingent at Ponds Forge. They turn their attention next to the annual Cheshire Championships.
