TWO teams from the same club will meet in the South Cheshire Premier League promotion play-offs quarter finals tonight, Monday.

Cheshire Stars T, from Middlewich, finished third in the Championship Division to clinch a date with Stars S after they sneaked into sixth spot by a single point from Sharks.

At stake is a place in the competition’s top tier.

CE KAM play Wright Manley Rubies in the other play-offs match at Sir William Stanier Leisure Centre in Crewe.

It promises to be a busy week for Stars T, paired with lower-ranked Oaklands B in the Dot Mack Cup last four tomorrow, Tuesday.

Cheshire Police, from the Premier Division, meet Indigo – promoted automatically as runners-up in the second tier – in the other tie.

Witton Albion, sixth in Division One, take on Cheshire Stars Pink in the Division One play-offs quarter finals – also on Monday – at the same venue.

Ringwood meet Roundabouts in the other match on Tuesday.

Meanwhile Winsford, who finished third in Division Two, will take on Glasshouse in that section’s quarter finals.

Lions and Hills complete the line-up.
