TEENAGERS from Winsford Swim Team tested themselves against the best of the rest from the north of England at the Zonal Meet in Sheffield.

Ashley Hogg led the way at Ponds Forge, winning silver in the 1,500m freestyle, and bronze in the 100m butterfly and 400m IM after setting a lifetime best marker of 4:41.30.

Vicky Cunningtham was runner-up in the 50m freestyle in her age class, but was pipped for bronze in 100m freestyle.

Callum Chapple raced in five events, setting a personal best of 2:01.95 in the 200m freestyle final.

Winsford’s contingent was completed by Brandon Sharkey.
