CONNOR Behan will take part in one of the most famous motorcycle events in the world later this year – the Isle of Man TT races.

The Northwich rider, following a successful debut season on the roads with KMR Kawasaki, has agreed a deal to continue with the Northern Irish outfit.

He plans to contest the four-lap Monster Energy Supersport races and the shorter Lightweight event on board one machines prepared by Ryan Farquhar’s squad.

“I couldn’t have a better mentor than him for racing at the TT,” said Behan, now 21.

“I’m just looking now to build on what I learned last year, to give a good account of myself and repay the faith Ryan has put in me.”

Behan placed second overall in the Irish Junior and Senior Support Championships during 2013, claiming three race wins and countless podiums in his debut year.

He was runner-up too in the Manx Grand Prix Newcomers A race, setting the fastest lap with an impressive 115.139mph.
