KAREN Morgan’s hat-trick helped Winnington Park extend their winning sequence to three matches on Saturday.
She reached a personal treble when scoring the visitors’ fifth goal from Helen Cartin’s assist, though they had to withstand pressure from hosts Chester seconds after half time.
Earlier efforts from youngster Lauren Miller, her first score for the senior team, Leona Wyllie and Morgan had established a 3-0 interval lead.
Morgan made it four early in the second period before Rachel Tranter and goalkeeper Helen Hogben marshalled the Winnington defence through a period during which the home team were restricted to one goal.
