Witton Albion will travel to Blue Square Bet North title favourites Chester in Cheshire FA Senior Cup

WITTON Albion will travel to higher-ranked Chester in seven days time to play for a place in the Cheshire FA Senior Cup final.

The Blue Square Bet North promotion hopefuls set up a date with Brian Pritchard’s men following win after extra time against Tranmere Rovers on Monday.

Albion, last winners back in 2006, have not reached the competition’s final four since a 4-0 defeat at Altrincham four years ago.

Stalybridge Celtic, 2-1 victors against Runcorn Linnets last night, Tuesday, host Northwich Victoria in the other semi final on Tuesday.
