THE Cheshire League’s representative team will have to wait until next month to play the remainder of its North West Inter League Cup semi final.

Steve Lloyd’s men, single-goal victors in the first leg before Christmas, host their Lancashire and Cheshire League counterparts at Crewe's Cumberland Arena on Wednesday, February 13, kick off 7.45pm.

The manager has made two changes, both of them enforced, to the squad originally announced earlier this month.

Whaley Bridge pair Bill Sutton and Matthew Brown replace unavailable Chris Quirk, from Eagle Sports, and Denton Town’s Brad Robinson.

Mike Knowles, Richard Chinn and PJ Hudson will sit out the return leg through suspension as punishment for their dismissals in the first encounter, with Nathan Ogden (Billinge), Pete Aidley (Tarporley) and Lee Morris (Whaley Bridge) called up in their place.

Eagle’s Adam Coleman is included too.

Tarporley goalkeeper Chris Jones is recalled as back-up to first choice Mark Higgs, from Cheshire League champions Knutsford.

Warrington outfit Eagle supplies the most men – four – to the 16-strong squad.

Meanwhile Liverpool County Premier League won 3-2 at Manchester League in the other final four clash at Chadderton on Wednesday.

They meet again next week.
