MARK Harris says Witton’s supporters have a pivotal part to play in helping the club to reach its objectives, both during this season and beyond.

The Albion chairman plans to explain how at a fans’ forum on Wednesday, from 7.30pm.

“We need all hands on deck,” he said.

“The team has made an excellent start to the season following promotion on the pitch in April, but we must make sure there is an infrastructure in place to help us continue to progress.

“Wednesday’s meeting is about kicking on, particularly as we have a unique opportunity at this time to cement our position as the number one club in the town.”

Manager Brian Pritchard will answer fans’ questions too.

His team occupies a play-offs place in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League top tier as the season reaches its halfway point, but he says he needs help to keep it there.

“It’s so important that as many fans as possible are come along,” he said.

“We’ll be there to answer the questions they want to ask, as well as making it clear what is needed to keep us in the position we’ve got ourselves into so far.”

The duo will describe specific ways in which supporters can help, whether that be as volunteers or through taking part in events to raise money.

Harris and Pritchard will identify too Witton’s short, medium and long term goals.

The forum takes place in the social club at the Premier Division outfit’s Help for Heroes Stadium.
