The Guardian and Cheshire West and Chester council have joined forces to help re-unite lost and stray dogs with their owners.

To see if your lost dog has been found, visit the Stray Dogs gallery.

The gallery shows detailed pictures of each animal and information about where and when they have been found.

After 7 days if they are left unclaimed they are taken to kennels to be re-homed.

  • CWAC 0040 collected 20th May 2009 from the Neston area He is a GSD entire male black tan with small patch of white on chest and at rear of both front legs his right ear is facing toward his left ear.
  • CWAC 0038 is a Tan with black flecking male entire with white blaize on chest and toes he has a docked tail. found in the Ellesmere port area.
  • CWAC 0033 is a white and tan Jack Russell bitch found in the Sandiway area.

  • CWAC 0035 is a X Breed Brindle and white bitch found in the Ellesmere port area
