We are a local, decent, hardworking couple who have traditional family values. We have been together for over six years and have recently
set up our first home together which we absolutely love. Ben is in the construction industry and I’m a full time carer and also work part time
at the Hazel Pear.
We were hoping to get married this year but unfortunately Ben lost his job due to the recession, so our plans have had to be put on hold, which is why winning this competition would be an absolute dream come true for us and our families.

We both spend a large majority of our time helping vulnerable children from Warrington, but on this occasion we would like the public to support us in our quest to have our dream wedding day.

We have shared four amazing years, she has the most gorgeous smile and always makes me laugh. I was over the moon when she agreed to be my wife. I know how proud her father is of her and how pleased he was we got engaged. She is the love of my life and I promised him that I will take care of her.
Following his death, she put her grieving on hold to look after her disabled Mum. She works full time, has become her mum’s carer, keeps our home lovely and still manages to smile! It hurts to see her tired and when things get to her because she gives so much to others.
I can’t tell you how much she means to me. To win would mean the world and would give Melissa the dream day she deserves and I would have also kept my promise to her Dad.
