Jodrell Side WI celebrates its 45th birthday in May and the meeting this month will include an extra special buffet complete with birthday cake. 2015 is a year of celebrations as the WI itself will be 100 years old therefore there are going to be many events up and down the country to mark the occasion.
Jodrell Side therefore would like to send an open invitation to the village to a street party 1915 style, to be held in the Methodist Hall September 5 2pm-4pm. More information will be forthcoming nearer the date. The weather was very kind to the Rail Trippers who had a lovely day out to Ludlow .The next few weeks are going to be busy with Rose Day and the Cheshire Show looming but there are various sub committees who have this all in hand.
The Book Club, Walking Group and Bowling Team are all flourishing and looking forward to an active summer.
