WE discussed the resolution which will be voted on at the Winsford annual council meeting.
This was agreed by everyone and our delegate Gwen Hayhurst will vote for this resolution.
The speaker for the evening was Richard Eves with Red Carpet Tales.
He is a professional toastmaster and is in much demand for weddings. There is much more to the job than just giving a speech and toasting the bride and groom. He liaises with the venue and catering staff, entertainers, photographers and everyone behind the scenes. He makes sure that everything happens at the right time, that guests are looked after and the special day runs without a hitch making it a day to remember. The raffle was won by Sheila Gallimore. The next meeting is on March 25 at 7.30pm at Lower Withington Parish Room when Judith Townsend will serve us a three course meal in a wok.
