THE beautiful part of Derbyshire, known as Chee Dale and Wye Dale is the setting for the next Vale Royal Rambling Club’s walk on Saturday, November 8.
This seven-mile walk will start from Blackwell at 10am and descend into Chee Dale then follow the River Wye until Topley Pike car park is reached. After crossing the A6 a path leads to the cliff top then across open upland to the delightful village of Chelmorton, which is known for its narrow strip fields dating from the Enclosure Act of several centuries ago. More countryside with open views and a second crossing of the A6 will return walkers to the starting point. For more information please see www.vrrc.co.uk.
