MEMBERS of the 21st Century Technology & Camera Group enjoyed a trip during August to the Alderley Edge, National Trust Woodlands Walks. This was a free instructional photography outing.

They enjoyed another trip later in the month to the Whitegate Station, using the disused railway lines Nature Trail for more photography, with instruction from the more experienced members.

This new group has monthly meetings at Willowmere, Middlewich, and whenever possible organise twice monthly, local photography outings where members are given guidance and instruction on how to take photos using their own digital cameras.

The meetings have member and external professional presenters, giving talks on a whole range of technical and photographic topics, with digital photography at the core of these presentations.

Using an agreed list members can provide and display examples of their own photographic work at the meetings using a large screen and projector.

The next meeting is on September 16, at Willowmere, Middlewich, 7pm-9.30pm when a professional speaker will be showing members and guests how to improve their photos when using post photography computer software. This will be followed in November, with part two of the presentation for the more skilled computer users.
