MEMBERS of Northwich Welsh Society went for walk along the bank of the Weaver in June.
The walk began from near the Leigh Arms in Acton Bridge along to Dutton’s Lock, returning along the canal towpath.
In addition to sharing tales of the riverbank, the members who are learning Welsh honed their skills using the language.
A garden party was due to be held at the treasurer’s home in Knutsford on Monday, and the annual meeting will be held on September 15 in the Castle Community Church schoolroom.
