BELVOIR Lettings’ fourth Charity Golf Day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support was another great success, raising in excess of £2,800 for the charity.

Held at Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club, 56 golfers took to the course on what was a crisp but sunny September day.

Belvoir franchise owner James Whalley said: “What a great day it was in aid of this very worthwhile cause.

“We can’t thank people enough for their continued support as a lot have been attending from the start four years ago!” Morning registration commenced at 8am, followed by some light refreshments of tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches.

The course itself was very well presented by the green keeping staff at Vale Royal, and there was a lot of positive feedback.

Following the golf there was a delicious two-course luncheon in the Great Hall and the opportunity to pick up some fantastic prizes in the auction and raffle.
