A NORTHWICH insurance firm has appointed a new general manager.
Peter Kennedy was due to join CRS Consultants Ltd on Monday as the general insurance manager.
Mr Kennedy will lead the commercial and private general insurance section of the Insurance Brokers and Independent Financial Advisers that were established in Northwich in 1977.
Peter started his insurance career in Manchester in 1973 with the Refuge/Federated.
He has since been with CT Bowring, Lesley & Godwin and Sedgwick’s within the latter’s specialist Lloyds wholesaling unit in Paris – where he had to learn the language from scratch – before he joined the firm’s international section while still having a strong connection with Lloyds and the London market.
