REGIS Salon in Northwich is holding various fundraising activities throughout October to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Staff at the salon, located in Bratt & Evans department store, paid £2 to wear pink and all pitched in to bake pink cupcakes, which were then sold in store on Friday, October 12.

As well as fundraising, the salon will be stocking this year’s limited edition ghd Pink Cherry Blossom styler, designed exclusively to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Nigel Teachen, head stylist at Regis Salon, said: “We’re so excited to start fundraising this year as all our customers and staff love getting involved. We were really pleased to team up with Breakthrough Breast Cancer last year and it went so well we couldn’t imagine not doing it again.

“More than 48,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK so we want to do all we can to support Breakthrough’s life-saving work.

We’re proud to stock the Pink Cherry Blossom limited edition ghd styler – it’s a gorgeous product and the money donated from each sale will help improve outcomes for breast cancer patients in the UK.”
