POLICE remain at the scene of a house fire reported in Wincham, Northwich.

Emergency services were called to Chapel Street, Wincham, at around 12.15pm today, Thursday.

In the interests of public safety and local residents, a number of adjoining and nearby properties have been evacuated.

Chapel Street remains closed to traffic whilst emergency services deal with the incident.

Drivers are asked to seek alternative routes.
