Fundraiser looking for charity HQ

A FUNDRAISING hero from Delamere is looking for a new HQ following the closure of his current base within the forest.
Charity fundraiser Andrew Bell has raised more than £7,500 for Help the Heroes, with the hope of reaching £10,000 by the end of the year.
Until now, the 25-year-old, who was diagnosed with severe hearing loss as a child, has been holding table top sales and collections at Linmere Visitor Centre at Delamere Forest, where he also works as a volunteer.
But now, Andrew must find a new base as current refurbishments to the centre mean he can no longer use it for fundraising.
“Obviously the visitor’s centre has closed now ready to be transformed into the new bike shop and cycle centre – this means I haven’t got anywhere to do my fundraising, and desperately need a new location,” said Andrew, who is currently studying for a masters degree in public health nutrition at Chester University.
“Given my fundraising has been mainly concentrated in Delamere, I’m keen to try and get more support in other places.
“I’m basically looking for any small businesses or places in the area who would allow me to have a stall over a weekend to raise money and awareness for Help for Heroes – it would be no more than a couple of tables.”
