Police appeal for information following Weaverham robbery

POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery in Weaverham.
A 35-year-old woman was walking along Russet Road at about 3pm on August 23 when she was approached by a person on a silver bicycle from behind.
The offender grabbed her handbag, pulling it off her shoulder.
They then fled the scene, cycling in the direction of Northwich Road.
Police have described the offender as about 6” tall with a slim build and short dark hair.
They were wearing a long-sleeved dark coloured top and dark coloured jeans.
It is not known whether the offender was a man or a woman.
