Community journalism project for Rudheath and Witton
11:28am Tuesday 4th September 2012 in News
THE UK’s oldest journalism school is coming to Northwich in an attempt to uncover roving reporters.
In partnership with Rudheath and Witton Together, the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is looking to recruit and train members of the community and help them to discover exciting new stories.
The project, which is open to residents over 16, will take place on September 20 with a one-off workshop in The Zone, Northwich Station.
As well as being given laptops and digital cameras, participants will be taught how to identify key themes and report on events that matter to the Rudheath and Witton community.
There are only 20 places available. To register, contact John Whitton at jwhitton@uclan.ac.uk
