THE children of Northwich Multisports Club will be able to get their hands on new equipment after a visit from MP Graham Evans.

The club is aimed at children of all ages with disabilities and offer arts and crafts as well as a range of sporting activities. Able-bodied children are also welcome to join in.

The Weaver Vale MP won £2,000 of sporting equipment vouchers as part of a BUPA challenge and decided to present the club with £700 of that total.

He said: “The Northwich Multisports Club is a brilliant place for children to come together and play sport.

I’m delighted that I’ve been able to help and that this sports equipment will help the club go from strength to strength.”

The club spent the vouchers on cricket bats, tennis rackets and balls.
