INTERNATIONAL sporting champions have been inspiring children at a Hartford school.

Tracey Neville, an international netball champion, and Reece Crooke, an international kickboxing champion, have been working with children as part of an Activate Sport camp at The Grange Junior School.

A number of camps are being held in Cheshire during the summer holidays, giving children aged from five to 12 and from seven to 16 chance to try a wide range of activities.

Toby Mitchell, Activate Sport’s managing director, said: “Our dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated team are continually enhancing our courses and content to ensure that all children enjoy the best possible Activate Sport camp experience, regardless of age or ability level.

“We believe it is just as important for someone with low levels of ability to enjoy giving things a go.

“Sport, dance and drama can be life-enhancing activities for everyone, not just those who make the school team or play for their county.”
