Case of mistaken identity for headless monkey

THE RSPCA inspection in to a 'headless monkey' found in a Northwich road has revealed that the animal was actually a squirrel.

The grisly discovery was made by a passer-by in Danefield Road at noon on Saturday.

Police, who described the animal as a small monkey with a black and white tail, logged the incident with the RSPCA and put the body on ice until inspectors could begin their investigation.

It appears that the animal may have been hit by a car.

lol - I'm sure Monty Pyhton could do something with this story...

and I quote from yesterday's article - "A head doesn’t come off by an animal or a car, it’s human intervention,” she said.

I for one will sleep tonight in the knowledge that the Monkey Ripper isn't on the loose
