BRIGHT baubles filled a Lostock Gralam office in aid of charity this month.

Staff at Comms-care, based on the Lostock Triangle site, raised £200 for St Luke’s Hospice as part of its annual Christmas Bauble Competition.

A festive snow scene, Christmas penguin and jewellry-filled bauble were awarded the top three prizes and the company made a donation to charity for every decoration entered into the challenge.

Richard Eglon, marketing manager at Comms-care, said: “It amazes me how creative and inventive our staff are with their bauble entries and this competition really brings out the competitive streak in all those who enter.”

Diane Eeley, head of community development at St Luke’s Hospice, added: “Thank you to everyone for taking part in the Christmas Bauble Competition which raised a fantastic £200 for the charity.

“We rely almost entirely on the support of our local community for our funding, which allows us to care for local people suffering life-threatening illnesses and support for their families at a time when they need us most.”
