CARNIVAL queens will be vying for the top spot in Davenham this month.
Davenham carnival committee will be holding its choosing event at the Royal British Legion, in Firthfields, on March 28.
The committee is looking for a queen, lady-in-waiting, princess, rosebud, fairy queen, crown bearer, sceptre bearer and orb bearer.
Entrants can book in at 2pm ready for a prompt start at 2.30pm.
The carnival itself will be held on May 22.
