THE tenth annual fundraiser in memory of a Winsford boy who lost his life to cancer was held on Friday, March 6.
The evening at the Conservative Club in Ways Green featured everything from the full monty through to a raffle and charity action.
Over the years organisers Wendy and Paul Cain have raised more than £20,000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust, as a tribute to friend Susan Taylor’s son, Andrew, who was just 12-years-old when he lost his battle with Leukaemia.
Two weeks ago, the couple held a 12-mile sponsored walk along Whitegate Way with 45 wellwishers joining in, and also organised a bag packing in Asda, Winsford.
Susan Taylor said: “Wendy and Paul put so much time and effort into the events they organise they are fantastic, I can’t thank them enough.”
