CHESHIRE’S longest Easter egg hunt will provide a fun-filled journey down the A49, with many attractions and businesses participating in the event, on April 2.
The challenge for all the family will stretch along the road from Sandiway to Tarporley, with 11 destination stops along the way including a polo club, chocolate shop and shire horse centre.
After collecting a stamp from each unique stop, participants have the chance to win one of 11 prizes. These include treats at Cabbage Hall, Portal Hotel and Spa and Cheshire Polo Club.
Mark Huntley, manager at Nunsmere Hall said: “There are not many roads where you would find yourself in a shire horse centre one minute and at the next turn tasting tempting delights in a unique chocolate shop.
“Anyone who takes part in the egg hunt will discover that those places and more are all along the A49.”
To take part in the event, participants will be asked to donate to Cardiac Risk in the Young charity (CRY), after an appeal from Eaton Primary School, Tarporley.
