NORTHWICH Air Cadets has welcomed 20 new fully fledged members to the squadron.
The cadets, from 146 Northwich Air Cadets, passed out from their 18-week First Class training course and have been officially welcomed with a formal meal and passing out parade.
The squadron recruits two entries of new cadets each year, in spring and autumn.
New cadets then go on to learn technical subjects, such as navigation and first aid, drill and discipline and camping and field-craft.
Civilian Instructor Martin Moores, 146 Squadron Adjutant, said: “I always enjoy these events, proud cadets coming to the end of their First Class training and even prouder parents watching their sons and daughters receiving awards.”
The next training course for new cadets starts on Tuesday, March 9, at 7.15pm at Northwich Cadet Centre, in Darwin Street.
Boys and girls aged 13 years and six months are welcome.
