CHESHIRE West and Chester residents are being urged to have their say on issues concerning access to the countryside.
The council would like to know how well the footpaths and bridleways are used and what improvements can be made.
The council is joining forces with Cheshire East Council to encourage people to join the Cheshire Local Access Forum, an independent advisory group providing advice to the councils and their partners.
They hope to achieve a good balance of members with wide ranging abilities, from walkers and cyclists to local businesses.
Clr Richard Short, portfolio holder for culture and recreation at Cheshire West and Chester Council, said: “The forum provides the chance to make real input to how areas of improvement can be proposed to meet future needs of users.”
To find out more call Genni Butler or Denise Snelson, countryside access development officers on 01606 271801 or email claf@Cheshire.gov.uk To apply to join the Local Access Forum please write to the Cheshire Local Access Forum, Phoenix House, Clough Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 4BD by October 9 detailing how your interest and experience would contribute to the work of the forum.
