SWINE flu has hit Northwich.
Suspected bouts of the H1N1 virus have been reported at Weaverham HIgh School.
Health officials and Cheshire West and Chester Council are unable to confirm exact locations of suspected Swine Flu outbreaks as tests are no longer carried out to confirm a diagnosis.
People that show symptoms of the illness are being sent home, but tests are only carried out in extreme circumstances.
A spokesman for Cheshire West and Chester Council confirmed that Winsford school remain open.
More to follow.
