Mid-Cheshire College student runs event

THE sister of one-year-old triplets born with serious health problems is organising a fashion show combined with live bands to raise money for a children’s charity at Alder Hey hospital.

Lucy Lambert, a 19-year-old fashion student at Mid-Cheshire College felt moved to put on the event at WA1 in Warrington on Monday, December 15 to raise the profile of Ronald Mcdonald House Charities, which provides free accommodation for families of children needing in-patient care in hospitals and hospices.

Since the birth of her brothers Sam, Joseph and Ben Cunningham, Lucy’s family have been commuting between Warrington and Alder Hey hospitals where Joseph recently underwent major open heart surgery after being diagnosed with a ‘vascular ring’ – a very rare congenital heart condition.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and the admission charge of £3 will be donated to the charity and will also contribute to Lucy’s college fashion show in June being held at Winsford Civic Hall.
