RESIDENTS can have their say about policing at an afternoon meeting in Middlewich on Tuesday, July 1.
Cheshire Police Authority has arranged the meeting to give residents chance to find out about policing issues and question senior police officers.
The meeting will take place at Middlewich Civic Hall, in Civic Way, at 2pm.
Anne Doran, chairman of the meeting, said: "With involvement from the public, the authority has reviewed the way people can influence local policing at public meetings and has made some changes.
"People told us that they often find it difficult to attend evening meetings due to family and work commitments so we are holding an afternoon Have Your Say meeting to see if people find it easier."
She added: "These meetings allow people to have a say and to make a difference so it is vitally important they make the most of this opportunity and come along to raise any policing issues of interest or concern."
