MID-Cheshire face their toughest test yet this weekend, according to Gary Cookson.
He has backed his team to storm to the title if they overcome Ormskirk in their Federation Section Three clash but warned they must be at their best to be victorious.
"It's our biggest match yet," he told the Guardian.
"I would go as far as saying it's winner takes all and Ormskirk will certainly be the strongest opponent we face this year."
The two teams have history - Mid-Cheshire lost by 12 chalks in last season's Team Knockout - but Cookson says he's happy that they have.
"We can learn a lot from that encounter," he added.
"Before that game we knew nothing about them and they surprised us with just how good they were but they say to be forewarned is to be forearmed so we'll be ready."
Ormskirk were convincing winners in their season opener, thrashing Middleton 24-8, while Cookson's men pounded Preston 25-7.
Cookson has tipped his team to form a one-two at the top of the table with Ormskirk but, with Mid-Cheshire still boasting a perfect record since they signed up with the Federation of Crown Green Bowls last year, he is keen to keep their run going.
The teams, both home and away, have only been tweaked this time with Winnington Park pair Steve Baskerville and Adi Faulkner the only fresh faces as reserves.
There is a strong Winsford feel to the home team, which plays at Meadow Bank.
"It's a fantastic club which always looks after us," added Cookson.
"A lot of our players know the green very well which I hope will help.
"I'm also looking for us to be a lot louder, particularly as Ormskirk's experienced players like to ramp up the banter.
"We're by no means quiet but nor should the players be afraid to let themselves be heard. If nothing else it adds to the atmosphere around the green."
Hosts Meadow Bank BC are sponsoring Sunday's game, which starts at 2pm. Entry is £1 for adults, 50p for U18s and O65s.
