A CAR caught fire at a petrol station.
Firefighters were called to reports of a car fire at a garage on King Street shortly before 12.45pm.
Crews discovered that the fire had been put out by a member of the public using a dry powder extinguisher.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to cool the vehicle and a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots, they then moved the car to a safe location.
The crew was at the scene for around 40 minutes.
Fiefighters tackled another car fire at the back of a pub on London Road shortly after 4.15am.
Crews found a car well alight.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and remained at the scene for around one hour
