A BARNTON man has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a crash on Sunday.
Police were called to Manchester Road West in Little Hulton, near Bolton, at 7.25pm on Sunday, September 16.
The crash, outside a kebab shop, involved a silver Audi A3 Quattro and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, an 18-year-old man, was crossing the road after leaving the takeaway when he was hit by the Audi. He remains in hospital with serious leg injuries.
Nathan Hobbs, 29 and from Lydyett Lane in Barnton, has been remanded to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 18.
