THE Roberts Bakery Band has confirmed the set list for its Bluedot festival debut this weekend, after asking for inspiration.

The band makes its festival debut on the Lovell Stage this Sunday, celebrating music from the past 50 years.

Having asked the bakery's fans and followers to vote for what tracks to play, the band's eclectic set will include everything from Michael Jackson to Daft Punk.

Roberts’ family member Lindsay Occleston said: “As a brand that’s rooted in innovation, Bluedot is a fabulous fit for us.

"We pride ourselves on creating a tantalising twist on the traditional – whether that’s adding a splash of gin and dash of tonic to a teacake or a handful of chilli flakes to a soft corn roll.

“So, the Roberts Brass Band taking to the main stage at such a serious music festival – playing their own 'brilliantly brassy' renditions of some of the most popular songs of recent years – supports our insatiable appetite for embracing all things new and unexpected.”

The ROberts Bakery Band set will include the following top ten voted-for tracks.

• Don't Stop Me Now by Queen

• Life on Mars by David Bowie

• Valerie by Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse

• Thriller by Michael Jackson

• Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones

• 1999 by Prince

• Can You Feel It by the Jackson 5

• Human by Rag 'n' Bone Man

• Get Lucky by Daft Punk (feat. Pharrell Williams)

• All Night Long by Lionel Richie

Bluedot festival takes place at Jodrell Bank from tomorrow, July 19, through to Sunday, July 22.
