MOULTON Pre-School is asking Asda shoppers to make a token gesture to support it.
The pre-school is one of the latest groups being supported by the green token scheme at the Asda store at Barons Quay in Northwich.
The pre-school said: “Asda at Barons Quay has chosen us to be part of their green token event.
“Please help to support us by asking for a token when you shop and drop it in our section on your way out.”
You can support the pre-school until the end of September. When leaving the store vote by placing your green token from the cashier into one of the three nominated slots.
Once voting has closed the tokens are added up determining first, second and third positions. The organisation in first place is awarded £500, whilst the organisation in second and third places receive £200 each.
Every three months three new successful nominees are put forward for voting in Asda stores running the Green Token Giving Programme.
Voting closes at the end of March, June, September and December.
Each year Asda invests £1.4 million in 4,000 good causes through its Green Token Giving Programme, giving back to organisations in the local area.
