NORTHWICH firefighters dealt with two incidents within 20 minutes at the weekend.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were first called out to Griffiths Road at around 8.28pm on Saturday following reports of a pile of rubbish well alight.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Crews were then called to Kings Lane, Cranage at 8.55pm to deal with a hedge fire.
The fire was around 6m by 2m and was again extinguished by crews usingn a hose reel jet.
