A HOTEL and pub in Chester Road were evacuated due to a fire overnight.
Firefighters from Northwich and Winsford spent an hour and 20 minutes at the scene after arriving just before 12.30am.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters attended a fire involving the ground floor of a pub on Chester Road, Northwich.
"Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
"An evacuation of the neighbouring hotel premises was conducted as a precaution."
